LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. (Nov. 14)—Air Products and Chemical Inc. is raising prices 7.5 percent for its Dabco triethylenediamine-based catalysts sold in the U.S. and Canada. The company blamed increasing raw material and plant costs for the increases. The chemical is used by polyurethane foam manufacturers to produce rigid, flexible and molded foam. The price hikes take effect Dec. 1. Last year the company announced a 20-percent production capacity expansion at its Paulsboro, N.J., facility.
