SHROPSHIRE, England (Oct. 31)—Polymer Laboratories Ltd. marked the start of its building expansion program recently with a ground breaking at its Church Stretton, Shropshire, England, site. Company Chairman Frank Warner and Deputy Chairman Terry Croucher dug the first sod in preparation for the building program, which will add 23,000 square feet to the firm´s existing 25,000-sq.-ft. plant. The program will accommodate growth of the company´s manufacturing capabilities in specialized polymer particle production for pharmaceutical, drug recovery and clinical applications, Polymer Laboratories said, as well as increasing its process chromatographic particle production capacity.
