FINDLAY, Ohio (Oct. 25)—Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. told dealers in mid-October that the company plans to increase prices of passenger and light truck tires up to 5 percent effective Dec. 1. A company spokeswoman said the price hike was because of climbing crude oil and raw material costs. Cooper´s last increase occurred in 1994, she added.
