LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (Sept. 20)—Trostel Specialty Elastomers Group Inc. is expanding its manufacturing facility by almost 30,000 square feet, growing to about 90,000 square feet by the spring of 2001, Sales Manager Tom Jablonski said. The company broke ground on the addition in early September. The extension will be designed as a state-of-the-art injection molding facility capable of accommodating up to 2,000-ton press capacity. "We ran out of room and we´ve experienced growth from our existing accounts and current markets while at the same time we´re looking at new markets," Jablonski said. The expansion will allow Trostel SEG to not only meet current customer requirements but also provide significant available capacity to effectively serve both existing and new customers, the firm said. Trostel SEG, based in Lake Geneva, primarily works with companies in the tire and wheel, hand and power tool, automotive and appliance industries.
