INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 18)—Great Lakes Chemical Corp. will raise the price of Lowinox 624-98 by 15 percent globally on Oct. 1. The intermediate is in the production of certain high-performance antioxidants, in high demand by the polyurethane fiber market. Great Lakes cited rising raw material and other costs as the reason for the hikes.
