CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 31)—Crossville Rubber Inc. is expanding its U.S. operations and negotiating European and South American joint ventures to get closer to its heavy-duty truck customers. The manufacturer is repositioning 30 jobs from its Tennessee headquarters to leased space in Princeton, W.V., where the heavy-duty floor covering systems it makes will be finished and sequenced to meet the next-day delivery requirements of customers in the area. Crossville will begin shipping products from the Princeton site by mid-September and plans to announce a second sequencing center on the West Coast within the next year, said President and CEO Tim Eburne.
