TORRANCE, Calif. (Aug. 29)—Honda North America Inc. said earlier news reports of its "reconsidering" its use of Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. as an original equipment supplier in the face of a 6.5 million-tire recall are exaggerated at best, a Honda spokesman said. "Like everybody in the industry, we´re a little concerned, but we have no plans to change our relationship with Bridgestone/Firestone," he said, adding that the company supplies OE tires to "virtually all" of Honda´s vehicle line.
