BAD SODEN-SALMUNSTER, Germany (Aug. 15)—Executives from Woco Industrietechnik GmbH and Groupe Michelin have signed an agreement formalizing the creation of their antivibration systems joint venture, Woco Michelin AVS. The joint venture, based at Woco´s headquarters in Bad Soden-Salmunster, combines the automotive AVS activities of Woco and Michelin and is majority-owned by Woco, the companies said. With more than a dozen plants on four continents, Woco Michelin AVS is expected to report sales of $220 million this year and grow to more than $300 million in the next three years.
