WAYNE, N.J. (July 27)—Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corp. has acquired Norwood Coated Products, a subsidiary of Seton Co., for an undisclosed amount. Malvern, Pa.-based Norwood is a manufacturer of specialty foams and adhesives products used in the medical, electronics, automotive and construction industries. Norwood, which employs about 80 at its 100,000-sq.-ft. plant in Malvern, will become part of Saint-Gobain´s Specialty Elastomer Products business, a Saint-Gobain spokesman said. Wayne-based Saint-Gobain Specialty Elastomer Products designs and manufactures engineered polymer products such as flexible tubing, foams, films and laminates, and custom engineered components for the automotive, aircraft, electronics, food and beverage, medical construction and chemical processing markets.
