DETROIT (July 18)—Eighteen automotive parts suppliers have signed letters of intent to participate in Covisint, the automotive online exchange under development by DaimlerChrysler A.G., Ford Motor Co., General Motors Corp. and Renault-Nissan. Among them are Dana Corp., Delphi Automotive, Federal-Mogul Corp., Freudenberg-NOK G.P. and Magna International. Other suppliers are in various stages of discussion to join the exchange, Covisint said in a written release.
