CHATEAUDUN, France (July 18)—Hutchinson S.A.´s Paulstra Automotive Antivibration business unit has inaugurated a 34,400-sq.-ft. technical center at its Chateaudun manufacturing site. The two-story building will house 140 staff dedicated to design, development and prototype work on parts and systems to reduce automotive vibration. The first floor of the center has 60 staff in four product development groups, each dedicated to one or more of the clients for which Paulstra develops complete engine mount and exhaust line systems. The group has another 30 staff in process design and eight people in advanced design. The preliminary trials group employs 42 in materials and prototype development.
