ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C.—Patch Rubber Co. promoted Bernard McNamara to director of engineering, maintenance and facilities and Jeff Young to sales manager for tire repair and retread products. It also hired Jim Davis as West Coast regional sales manager and Harold Seger as technical director.
McNamara, whose new responsibilites include the continuous improvement of the firm´s physical operations, joined the company in 1991 as maintenance and facilities manager.
Young previously worked as Patch Rubber´s regional sales manager for eight years. In his new position, Young plans and implements the company´s strategic marketing direction for its tire repair and retread products in addition to guiding its sales representatives.
Davis, responsible for sales of the firm´s line of tire repair and retread products on the West Coast, was a sales representative at Myers Tire Supply for four years before joining Patch Rubber.
Seger coordinates calendered and extruded rubber product development as well as raw material sourcing and approval. He previously served as technical director for Oliver Tire Co.
