BANGKOK, Thailand (June 26)—Indonesia may not join Thailand and Malaysia in a program to control natural rubber production and prices, according to a top Thai industry official. "I do not think Indonesia will sign a memorandum of understanding with Thailand and Malaysia on the rubber plan," Reuters quoted Choositt Opaswongse, president of the Thai Rubber Association, as saying. Representatives of the three countries are supposed to meet in Jakarta July 6-9 to discuss the memorandum of understanding.
