BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. (June 22)—Rubber roller maker Samuel Bingham Co. was purchased by aircraft parts supplier Reinhold Industries Inc. in a $15.5 million deal completed March 9. The deal for Bingham, which has been in the roller industry for more than 150 years, was financed by a five-year loan from Bank of America for $11 million and $4.5 million from cash on hand, according to Reinhold´s Securities and Exchange Commission filings. Bingham, based in the Chicago suburb of Bloomingdale, will be controlled by Samuel Bingham Enterprises Inc., an Indiana-based subsidiary Reinhold set up shortly before the purchase.
