CHESHIRE, England (June 20)—SSL International P.L.C. has signed a long-term agreement with Dallas-based Crossmark, a sales and marketing company, and eliminated some of its marketing staff and a number of distributors as part of a restructuring of the U.S. and Canadian operations of its Durex Consumer Products business. Crossmark will exclusively be responsible for sales and marketing of Durex Consumer Products, including the Durex brand of condoms, to all major national and regional mass-merchandise, drug, food and convenience retail stores, a SSL spokesman said. The spokesman did not say how many jobs or distributors were eliminated, but he did note that a number of employees have transferred to other posts within the company.
