SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS, France (June 19)—Silicone raw materials supplier NuSil Technology Inc. will relocate its European technical and manufacturing center to Sophia Antipolis from Arklow, Ireland, as part of its international expansion strategy. NuSil purchased a 13,000-sq.-ft. building in Sophia Antipolis for an undisclosed amount to house the center. Its 20,000-sq.-ft. site in Arklow, NuSil Technology Ltd., was closed in February, and the new center is expected to be operational in the third quarter, Marketing Director Steve Bruner said. Serving primarily as a technical solutions center for customers´ application needs, the new site also will provide laboratory research and specialized manufacturing capabilities.
