PRESTON, England (June 16)—Compounding Ingredients Ltd. is investing nearly $1.5 million to expand capacity for solvent-based rubber-to-metal bonding agents at its Preston plant, its fifth such expansion in five years. Due on stream by October, CIL´s new plant will double annual capacity for ``Cilbond´´ bonding agents to 1,200 metric tons, Peter Astles, CIL managing director, said.
