NEW YORK (June 13)—Custom silicone and elastomeric product maker Mox-Med Inc. has implemented a lean operation plan it says is boosting product quality, sales and the firm´s manufacturing process. The Portage, Wis.-based firm has experienced company-wide growth and improved production during the past few months without being hit with exorbitant costs, General Manager Michael Cahill said. The company did not divulge the cost of the program, but Cahill said it was minimal. The goal behind the program is to use Mox-Med´s current assets more efficiently as it grows and not add people, he said.
