NEW YORK (June 13)—The JBL Division of Parker Hannifin Corp. has added equipment and personnel to its expanding operation in Spartanburg, S.C., prompted mostly by the success of its newest product line, ParFab. The additions give the company more flexibility and allow it to better assist customers in the design of products, Peter Jensen, medical market manager, said at the Medical Design & Manufacturing East Exposition. A variety of new custom-made equipment and work stations have been added at JBL´s 110,000-sq.-ft. Spartanburg plant, Jensen said, and about 10,000 square feet has been dedicated to the company´s ParFab products, used primarily in the health care and telecommunications industries.
