FINDLAY, Ohio (June 8)—Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.´s automotive components division has set up a global synergies board with Nishikawa Rubber Co. Ltd. "to strengthen their long-term strategic global alliance." Cooper-Standard Automotive and the Japanese company are linked through a U.S. sealing system joint venture, Nishikawa Standard Co., established in 1986. The joint board of three executives from each company will oversee teams covering program management, technology, commercial and manufacturing issues to offer a more integrated approach to global customers, the companies said in a joint press release.
