ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. (June 8)—Patch Rubber Co. has finished a 10,000-sq.-ft. addition to its Roanoke Rapids, N.C., cement house, enabling it to meet higher demand for its tire retreading, repair and specialized industrial adhesives. The Myers Industries Inc. subsidiary now has 27,000-sq.-ft. of cement production space at the site. The 53-year-old company employs more than 200 at the complex, which has 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The cost of the project wasn´t disclosed.
