AKRON (June 8)—Despite a victory in federal court about its liability for leaking radiant heating systems containing its Entran II hose, Goodyear still faces at least 20 lawsuits across North America involving the hose. Suits on behalf of 41 property owners have been filed in Colorado, Utah, Michigan, Maine and Canada. One, filed in state district court in Colorado, is up for class action certification in mid-July. If certified, the suit could represent between 1,800 and 2,300 property owners in Colorado who have Entran II systems in their homes, according to attorneys handling the case.
