INDIANAPOLIS (June 8)—TruckersB2B.com, an Indianapolis-based "business-to-business" e-commerce Web site for truckers, has signed an agreement with Michelin North America Inc. to provide rebates to the Web site´s 130,000 trucker members on the purchase of Michelin truck tires and Michelin Retread Technologies retreads. Under the rebate program, truckers negotiate supply deals with local dealers and retreaders, fax the invoices to TruckersB2B.com and get a cash rebate from Michelin, according to Bob Helms, president and CEO of the site. "A trucking company with 20 trucks can pick up $400 to $500 per month, as well as what it can save through the dealer," Helms said.
