LAKE FOREST, Ill. (May 26)—Tenneco Automotive and Andersen Consulting´s Automotive, Industrial and Transportation group has joined to launch an online automotive aftermarket customer order management system, among the industry´s first, Tenneco said. The e-center—at www.tadirect.com—allows customers to place and track orders 24 hours a day, allowing immediate order placement and pricing, stock and order status information. "Tenneco . . . had comprehensive service efforts in place prior to the launch of the site," said Mark Ernst, associate partner at Andersen. "We focused on supplementing those efforts, providing relevant e-commerce functional, technical and project management expertise."
