PARIS (May 24)—France´s Hutchinson S.A., among the global leaders in anti-vibration systems, is buying Barry Wright Corp., a developer and maker of vibration control components for aerospace and general industry, from Applied Power Inc. Hutchinson, a subsidiary of France´s TotalFinaElf oil company, agreed to pay more than $100 million for Barry Wright, which will bring $120 million in new sales to Hutchinson. The acquisition is expected to close in early July, the two companies said.
