SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (May 16)—Partners in the automotive exchange formed in February by DaimlerChrysler A.G., Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Corp. have chosen a name for the company—Covisint. The name represents COnnectivity, COllarboration and COmmunication, as well as VISibility and INTegrated solutions, the group said. Partners in the venture, which now include Renault SA and Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., expect to receive Federal Trade Commission approval for the independent company/exchange by fall.
