(May 16)—Canadian asphalt producer Polyphalt Inc. has secured two licensing agreements which will extend U.S. presence of its polymer-modified asphalt processing technologies. A deal with Sioux City, Iowa-based Jebro Inc. allows Jebro manufacturing and distribution rights to Polyphalt´s EPx, ELx and DVx process technologies in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. A second agreement gives Gulf States Asphalt Co., of Houston, rights to DVx recycled rubber asphalt processing in Texas. Polyphalt´s proprietary technologies are aimed at the production of enduring, high-performance PMA materials for paving and building construction, Polyphalt said.
