AKRON (May 11)—A group of 11 former Goodyear employees has filed an age discrimination suit against the company, claiming the plaintiffs were victims of a finance division reorganization that led to their replacement by younger workers. The suit, filed in Summit County Common Pleas Court May 9, claims the April 1999 reorganization was executed to eliminate Goodyear´s finance department´s older work force. Each of the plaintiffs was 43 years of age or older and had 23 years of experience or more with Goodyear at the time.
