LONDON (May 10)—Laird Group P.L.C. said it will clarify the position of its automotive sealings division at its annual general meeting May 12, following media reports that the business is to be sold off. The company will comment on "future strategy, including the strategy in relationship to Laird´s automotive businesses." Laird recently announced a $28.4 million purchase of two window and door businesses in the U.S. and is reported to be considering the sale of its car seals operations to focus on the hardware and security products markets.
