FINDLAY, Ohio (April 25)—Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. said it should finalize a deal April 28 to sell its entire painted injection molded plastics business to Plastech Engineered Products Inc. for an undisclosed amount. The unit operates from a single plant in Winnsboro, S.C. The automotive supplier/tire maker also is moving forward with plans to divest its extruded plastics trim business and non-automotive plastics operations, the other non-core units it gained in acquiring Standard Products Co.
