MORRIS TOWNSHIP, New Jersey (April 17)—The Specialty Chemicals business of Honeywell has broken ground on a new multi-million dollar industrial wax facility in Suzhou, China. The plant, slated for completion in late 2000, is to be located adjacent to Honeywell´s Suzhou Engines manufacturing site. It will service rising Asian-Pacific demand for waxes, additives and petroleum-based blends in the region, Honeywell said.
