AKRON (April 13)—ACS Rubber Division membership rose 3.2 percent in a year-to-year comparison as of March 31, while attendance at the Dallas spring meeting was off from last year´s convention. Total membership increased by 97 to 3,157, according to a the division´s Membership Committee. Attendance at the Dallas meeting reached 561, compared to 722 at the spring meeting in Chicago in 1999, and 733 at the 1998 spring convention in Indianapolis.
