NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. promoted Mike Fujimura to chief administrative officer.
The newly created position´s responsibilities include oversight of supply chain management, business processes and information technology and export sales.
Fujimura most recently served as president of the company´s Truck Tire Sales division. John Lampe, president of the firm´s Tire Sales Co., will oversee the truck tire sales unit.
Fujimura joined Bridgestone Corp. in 1967 and transferred to the company´s Akron operation in 1989.
