TORONTO (March 22)—AirBoss of America Corp. had record sales in 1999 of $81.7 million, up 51 percent from the previous year´s $53.9 million. It´s the seventh consecutive year AirBoss has achieved sales growth of more than 50 percent, President Robert L. Hagerman said. Net income for the year jumped 62 percent to $5 million from $3 million in 1998. The increase would have been greater, Hagerman noted, except for bad debts of $408,000 which were recorded by a customer.
