SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (March 10)—Acordis Industrial Fibers is raising the price of its nylon type 6,6 fibers in North America. Effective April 1, nylon fibers will rise 6-8 percent to cover raw material and associated costs following a period of falling nylon prices, Acordis said. This is reportedly Acordis´ first nylon price increase in three years.
