SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (Feb. 16)—Federal-Mogul Corp. today said it will retain its Anco wiper blade operation after putting it up for sale last fall. The sealing supplier also will hold on to the lighting and fuel operations it was shopping around following mid-September profit warnings. In total, the units represent about $700 million in annual revenue, $200 million of which is generated by the former Cooper Industries wiper division. "After exploring the possible sale of these businesses with numerous strategic parties, we have concluded that retaining these...is in the best interest of (our) shareholders," said Chairman and CEO Richard Snell.
