MELBOURNE, Australia (Jan. 26)—South Pacific Tyres Ltd. CEO John Gurrieri will resign from the company Feb. 29. Pacific Dunlop Ltd. and Goodyear, the co-owners of South Pacific Tyres, have not yet named a successor. Gurrieri, 50, held several senior position during a 29-year career at Pacific Dunlop, including South Pacific CEO since May 1995 and CEO of South Pacific Tyres New Zealand. Gurrieri said he decided it was a good time to provide an opportunity for a new chief executive to take the business into the next phase of its development, according to the firm.
