FRANKFURT, Germany (Jan. 26)—Degussa-Huls A.G. is buying a carbon black plant in Poland, and plans to expand the annual capacity there in stages to 50,000 metric tons. Degussa-Huls will pay $7 million to Nafta Polska and Rafineria Jaslo for the plant and attached power station in Jaslo, in southeast Poland.
