MUSCATINE, Iowa (Jan. 20)—Bandag Inc. has named Sam Ferrise II, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Bandag since 1998, the new president of the firm´s commercial tire distribution subsidiary, Tire Distribution Systems Inc. He replaces James "J.J." Seiter who is retiring after a 40-year tire industry career, the last five with Bandag. The company did not say when the transition will take place.
