Instron Corp. has released two new microhardness testers. The Tukon 2100 Microhardness Tester features a closed-loop, load control design. The indenter and load cell are mounted directly on the 2100´s testing axis, eliminating friction and improving accuracy. The tester is Year 2000 compliant and meets ASTM E 384, DIN, EN and all other standards for microhardness testing. The Wilson MicroRockwell Hardness Tester can be used for high-speed production testing of small or thin components as well as for case depth analysis. It has the capability to perform a large number of tests on a smaller surface area, the company said. For more information, call 781-575-6000 or fax 781-575-5770.
