MACEDONIA, Ohio—TPC Wire & Cable Corp. acquired EZ Form Cable Corp. of Hamden, Conn., in a move that will give TPC new capabilities in coaxial cable and radio frequency connectors, according to a news release.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
EZ Form supplies RF and microwave interconnect products for applications in the defense, space, wireless communications and medical instrumentation industries.
TPC said in the release that the move strengthens its position as a diversified supplier of high-performance wire, cable, connectors, assemblies and accessories used in harsh environments.
EZ Form has about 50 employees, all of whom will be retained, TPC marketing manager Susan Biskopski said via email. TPC employs more than 200 people, she said.

TPC, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has been growing through acquisition during the past couple years. The Macedonia company in December acquired Milrail Inc. of Quebec, which supplies the rail, transit and military markets with wire, cable and interconnect devices.
In September 2017, TPC acquired Electra Cord Inc. of Massillon, a maker of custom-molded cable assemblies, power cords and cord sets for original equipment manufacturers in different industries.

"We are confident that TPC will be the best steward of the EZ Form business in the years to come."
TPC, founded in 1979, says its products are designed to withstand harsh environments and impact, abrasion, flexing, chemicals and extreme temperatures.
