DALLAS—Industrial distributor Singer Industrial is adding to its fluid power product distribution network.
The supplier has acquired Sacramento-based Fluid Tech Hydraulics (FTH) in a move that will add to Singer's network of more than 120 locations across North America.
Financial details of the move were not disclosed.
Scott Wojciak, Singer Industrial Fluid Power president said, that the new acquisition will be a valuable member to the Singer team. He cited the company's wide array of fluid power components and services as a chief reason why Singer went after the California equipment manufacturer and supplier.
FTH will remain under the leadership of owner Gail Sparks as part of the agreement, according to Wojciak.
"Gail and the entire Fluid Tech Hydraulics' team have built an extraordinary business by providing exceptional service to their diversified customer base, which aligns perfectly with the Singer Industrial strategy," Wojciak said. "We are very excited to have them join our team and look forward to expanding our sales and services into California."
