PRESTON, U.K.—Rubber and plastics insulation products supplier PAR Group Ltd. has acquired United Kingdom-based rubber products manufacturer Mountford Rubber & Plastics Ltd.
Established 35 years ago in Birmingham, Mountford manufactures, converts and distributes rubber sheeting, neoprene, EPDM and polyethylene foam and sponge products.
In a statement Dec. 3, PAR Group said Mountford's factory in Birmingham has been closed following the purchase, and all business has been transferred to the group'' sites in Preston and Manchester.
The financial details or exact date of the transaction were not disclosed.
PAR Group said the acquisition brings "an array of new plant, tooling resource and stock" to the U.K. manufacturer.
Headquartered in Preston, PAR Group serves a range of industries including food and pharmaceutical, water treatment, chemical, aerospace, power generation, packaging, recycling and distribution.
