DALLAS—Singer Industrial has added another business to its group of sites, this time buying TS Products Inc. in Dundas, Minn.

Established in 2001, TS Products specializes in the manufacturing of hydraulic power units with submersible hydraulic pump/motor combinations. It is owned and operated by Steve and Tammy Schultz, and will operate within Singer's Dakota Fluid Power Division.

Terms of the Sept. 29 deal weren't disclosed.

Scott Wojciak, president of Singer's Fluid Power Division, said the TS Products has "built a very unique and profitable business with a culture of providing exceptional service to their customer base."

"We are very excited to have them join our team and look forward to expanding the sales of their custom engineered hydraulic power units and specialized components integrating into the Singer Industrial footprint," he added.

TS Products' main markets include construction, large door systems, dump body trailers, conveyor and marine components, with targeted growth in several new sectors. Its engineering expertise complements Dakota Fluid Power's engineering team, which Singer said already is the leading Fluid Power group in the region.

Steve Schultz will continue to work in the business as a sales engineer and will help drive continued organic sales growth with both the legacy TS Products customers as well as Dakota Fluid Power customers.

"We have been proud to serve our Midwest area for decades," he said. "We are extremely confident that this transition will benefit our customers as well as our employees by providing the same excellent sales and service while providing a stronger network and expanded offerings."

Dallas-based Singer Industrial, which rebranded earlier this year to SBH Holdings, offers a line of fluid power, hose and fittings, belt, seals and gaskets, along with pneumatic and automation products and services. Its North America footprint includes about 90 distributor locations with over 1,200 employees.

It is majority owned by AEA Investors Small Business Private Equity.
