ANDOVER, Mass.—In a move that extends its reach in the European market, Innovative Chemical Products Group has acquired Leeson Polyurethanes of Warwick, England.
The acquisition was completed Oct. 21. Details of the transaction were not released.
ICP said bringing Leeson under ownership of its ICP Building Solutions Group strengthens its portfolio in the construction industry. It is expected that ICP will retain the Leeson brand name.

Mattscheck said Leeson offers a spectrum of innovative solutions for professionals, "making them a natural fit for ICP BSG."
Leeson, founded by the Leeson family in 1986, has grown its customer base throughout the decades, servicing them with durable, protective and flexible polyurethane products.
Besides building and construction, Leeson works in the insulation, sports surfaces, waterproofing and other industries.
The ICP Group is a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity and has manufacturing facilities around the world that provide coatings, adhesives and sealants.
