CORVOL L'ORGUILLEUX, France—Rubber, polyurethane and TPE specialist the Borflex Group has acquired SPCV Silicone Plastic Rubber Voreyzian, a French manufacturer of rubber and silicone baby products.
The acquisition is part of the Borflex's growth strategy, expanding its offerings in the process, a statement issued Dec. 10 said.
Established in in Massif Central, France in 1972, SPCV is a family business specializing in the production of child care equipment and accessories in LSR rubber and silicone.
With a strong foothold in Europe, the company registered sales of more than $1.95 million in 2018.
SPCV's products are marketed in 18 different countries, in particular through the Natae-branded range of baby bottles and nipples.
The integration of SPCV brings the total of Borflex group companies to 11, and the number of employees to 375.
Based in Corvol L'Orgeuilleux, in central France, Borflex specializes in small- and medium-production runs. It has 10 production sites in France and Switzerland.
