REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio—Americana Tire and Wheel, a unit of American Kenda Rubber Industry Co. Ltd. serving the North American towable trailer, utility, recreational vehicle, marine and agricultural industries, has rebranded as "Kenda Americana Tire and Wheel."
The move is designed to help improve the company's brand positioning and help establish the company as more than just a tire, wheel and assembly distributor, American Kenda said.
The Reynoldsburg-based company remains the primary distributor of Kenda Loadstar- and Karrier-branded specialty trailer (ST) tires, which are engineered, designed and tested at the Kenda Technology Center in Green, Ohio.
Changes to the brand include a fresh logo, new website, revised catalog and updated email addresses.
"The branding and logo have been updated to bring them in line with our expanding business and reflects our forward momentum throughout the organization at Kenda American Tire and Wheel," Dave Craig, president of the unit, said.
"Our new look is a reminder of the Kenda Advantage: the combined strength of design, engineering, manufacturing and distribution to better serve our customers. Having the Kenda name as part of the branding aligns the continued focus on Kenda's core company values of honesty, integrity, innovation and service."
As part of the Kenda family, Kenda Americana Tire and Wheel collaborates with other suppliers to design, produce and supply a portfolio of trailer tires, wheels, and assemblies to the business' intended markets.
"What we're launching today captures the pride we have in both the products and the industries we serve," Craig said.
"By having Kenda as an integral part of our branding, we are tying both brands together for a stronger future," added Craig.
The company operates four assembly/distribution sites in the U.S., in Elkhart, Ind.; York, Pa.; Blackshear, Ga.; and Marshfield, Mo.
The new website for Kenda Americana Tire and Wheel will be updated on a regular basis with company news, new product offerings and the most recent company catalog.
