  • Rubber Technology Advances in the Oil Field Industry

    This two day technical course/symposium will concentrate on new technological advances in the properties and applications of rubber used in all aspects of the oil field industry.
    Day 1: Educational
    Prof. Dr. Robert Schuster of DIK, Hannover, Germany “Heat, oil and tear resistance of elastomers used in the oil well industry”
    Day 2: Applications
    Contributing speakers from industry including presentations on seals, packers, stator pumps, hoses, tank/pipe lining, conveyor belts and rubber-to-metal adhesion technology.
    Registration is $400 for ACS or CSC rubber div. members, $475 for non-members.
    Display booths are available for $250.
