Message From The Conference Chairman
Dear Colleague, It has been said that solutions begin with ideas. ITEC is about ideas. We are now entering a period of important performance paradigm shifts that already influence how we manufacture tires, how we market them and how we are likely to deal with them in the future. The 2008 ITEC conference will be a superbly balanced tire industry meeting with selected experts delivering 65-70 original presentations with a focus on how to become more efficient in manufacturing, materials utilization, rolling resistance and marketing. ITEC is an idea-based program that propels much of what the tire manufacturing industry’s future will be. I can assure you that many fresh ideas will be exchanged in the exhibits hall where attendees will find knowledgeable people whom they otherwise might not have ever met who are qualified and anxious to talk about their machines, materials and processes. ITEC is the only North American show that brings together in one place, at one time and in one city, the global tire manufacturing industry. For the week of September 15, 2008, everyone involved in tires will be in Akron, Ohio. I hope to see you there.
