The third annual Automotive Elastomers Conference helped vehicle manufacturers and suppliers broaden their focus in all areas of responsibility in regard to manufacturing rubber-elastomeric automotive parts. The 18 papers presented provided a unique opportunity to understand the many factors that contribute to a successful operation.

The OEM panel - The impact of substance restriction on polymeric materials provided a unique perspective on how automobile manufacturers and suppliers need to comply with the Restricted Substance Management Standards. Plans for a follow-up roundtable are in the planning stages for the 2005 conference.
